Anyone
Hey ladies. Hey fellas. Is anyone out there still interested in the game of Poker?
I’d like to try and organize a game sometime in the near future, although I don’t like my chances…
Could either be a continuation of the tournament or just one off games. But it would need to be more than a $5 baby game- they are just lame.
Anyway hit me back dudes. I think the biggest problems with the poker were: (1) everyone got tightass, and (2) lack of things for the losers to do when they got out. If these two problems can be solved, I think we might still have a chance to salvage our relationship with the forgotten game.

They said it couldn’t be done. They said it was impossible. They said I was crazy. They were wrong. HARD!

Where has the poker tournament gone? I checked my undies and it’s not there. Where could it be? Without having to install some sort of polling system onto the website (which will most likely just be abused) I’d like to call a vote on what to do about the AN Classic Poker Tournament.
There seems to have been a massive loss of interest in the tourny (and poker in general, being replaced by paper-scissors-rock), so we need to make a decision on whether to continue or not. So here are our options as I see them:
- We officially close the Poker tournament, crowning Lisa the winner and awarding her the Trophy? (as she is currently top of the leaderboard)
- We resuscitate the tournament and finish off what we started (and have a lot of drinks and schnitzels in the process)?
Place your votes below…

And so the poker drought continues in Allnightaville, but at least this time we got 2 tables going. Table distributions were as follows:
- Table #1 (AKA The Nugs): Mitcho, Johny, Lisa and Sav
- Table #2 (AKA The Highcarders): Katy, Monty, Ceelow, Losty and Pomps
The night got off to a late start thanks to my frustration with the electronic dominoes ordering system (I want to bash the shit out of and set fire to the robot voice who after confirming the Castle Hill address, connected me to Baulkham Hills, only to be told they don’t service Castle Hill and wouldn’t connect me). Eventually we got the Pizza’s, along with an tasty treat in the form of a creamy cob bread by Katy. Read more
3 commentsExtra! Extra! Officially worst turnout of a poker tournament so far!
The fourth game represented a real paradigm shift in poker tournament game-play: the afternoon game*
The fourth event of the 2007 poker tournament took place at the Computer Man Technodrome (aka Kendall’s House), with the lowest turnout rate with only 8 runners! All results have been calculated and the results have shifted (except for 1st and 2nd places which have remained the same). Read more

46 commentsHey All, in regards to the 4th Poker Tournament Event (scheduled for this Saturday 12th May), the game will NOT be held at my (Mitcho’s) place. I SMS’d everyone about this over the weekend, but incase some of you didn’t get the message then take note.
So the 4th event is up for grabs. Whoever wants to host it just let everyone know and then make an announcement. If no one picks it up before Saturday looks like the 4th event will need to be post poned. Sav’s house is also out of the question since he doesn’t live there anymore.
15 commentsThe third event of the 2007 poker tournament took place at Johny & Trudie’s Pool Pavillion last week, with 12 original players and one newcommer. The food was killer and the cob breads got absolutely demolished. All results have been tabulated and the rankings have once again shifted. So without further adieu, here is a brief rundown of the event. Read more

Is anyone interested in having / playing a poker game tomorrow night with the Big Cee! I’m not working on Sunday so want to make the most of my Saturday night off!
UPDATE: Poker tonight will be happening at Mitcho’s. Give me a call if you are coming so I can organise numbers etc. There are rumors the sneaky Title will be put up for grabs. _Mitcho
Here are a few happy snaps of the Title being handed back to Big Cee.
